Collon Campsite is ideally situated just north of Drogheda, less than 10 minutes from the M1, half way between Dublin and Belfast. 

The campsite boasts acres of woodland for hiking trails and orienteering, and the site features ample space for camping, campfire circle and two cabins with kitchen and dining facilities, toilets and showers.

Cooley Mountains

Situated a half hour drive from the campsite, the Cooley Mountains (Irish: Sléibhte Cuaille) are on the Cooley Peninsula in northeast County Louth in Ireland. They consist of two ridges running northwest to southeast, separated by the valley of Glenmore with the Big River running through it.
